After only three episodes of Yaga, Carson and Rapp's investigation into the disappearance of Henry Park, and now the murder of Logan Casey, has taken twistier turns than they ever anticipated. The ending of episode 3 found Carson and Rapp discovering Logan's secret recordings of Henry's bedroom and the mysterious symbol that seemingly ties these strange happenings together.
Yaga episode 4 begins with an unidentified young woman following the recipe for the secret drug potion. Rapp watches the woman through a window, and when she turns around, her shirt opens to reveal the Celtic symbol. She removes her mask and it's Pam. But it's simply a daydream Rapp's having as Pam waits to be questioned on the other side of the one-way mirror.
Carson joins Pam in the interrogation room, and she immediately pulls Rapp's coffee trick on Pam. Eckert, who's sitting with Rapp, comments on Pam's looks. Carson launches into her questioning. Pam tries to deny having sex with Logan on the night of his death, but Carson bluffs that they have identified her voice from the tapes. Carson asks about the two years she dated Logan.
Pam explains that she was adopted and that Logan was nice to her. Even though they dated as teenagers, they never had sex when they were together. They remained friends after their breakup, and she eventually began dating Henry, who swept both Pam and Logan off their feet. Logan became obsessed with Henry and wanted to be like him and completely changed his look.

Carson questions Pam about her threesome with Henry and Logan
According to Pam, Henry loved that Logan wanted to be just like him. Carson asks about the orange-ish powder found in Logan's room. Pam identifies it as "villy" and claims both Henry and Logan were both always on it. Carson also asks about the Celtic symbol, explaining it had to do with their "cult" and they were going to get it tattooed. She doesn't know much about the cult in the woods.
Once again, Carson bluffs about having a tape of Pam hooking up with both Henry and Logan at the same time, and it's enough for Pam to reverse her denial. Carson asks Eckert to play the tape, and since there is no tape, he has to stall until Pam confesses. As Pam explains, a flashback of the threesome shows Henry (making his first appearance in the show, though without any dialogue) kissing Pam and putting his fingers in Logan's mouth.
Henry pushes Pam and Logan together and walks away before returning to make out with Logan. He sits in a chair and watches Pam and Logan together while pleasuring himself. Pam tells Carson how Henry enjoyed having this power over them and "watching a movie of himself." Carson calls Pam weak and keeps pushing her and pushing her with theories about how she could have killed Logan.
Pam denies harming either of them and uses Hunter Nielson as backup for her alibi for being downstairs when Logan was killed. Carson asks Pam to write down names and phone numbers of all the people who can corroborate her story. She also asks Pam if she thinks it's Henry could have killed Logan. Suddenly, Pam realizes that Carson was bluffing with the tapes.
Eckert follows Pam outside (creepy) while Rapp and Carson continue listening to the rest of the tapes. Carson's running with the theory that Henry killed Logan, but Rapp thinks she's reaching and likes the cult more as a lead. They speak with Angel about the symbol, which is a version of a triskele. It means a number of things, one of which Angel names as "mother, maiden, crone."

Who is Laney in Yaga episode 4?
Someone named Laney puts the symbol on the bottom of her pottery, which we have seen in previous episodes. Laney's an older woman into naturopathy and "women's stuff." Angel insists villy isn't a drug but "an ethical organic dissociative tonic" and stands for vylikuvaty, which means "cure" in Ukrainian. Laney uses them for the manifestation rituals called sabbats.
According to Angel, in order to manifest your dreams, you bring a gift for the goddess before drawing a triskele near your bed. That sounds eerily familiar to what Rapp found in Henry's room. Angel gives Rapp directions to the location of the sabbats in the woods. She also casually reveals that she has seen both Henry and Logan at these gatherings.
After getting Laney's address from Angel, Rapp and Casey head to her house to poke around. When no one answers, Rapp picks the lock and they enter the house. While they're looking around, they hear someone leave through the backdoor, but the car has already sped out of the garage before they can track down the person they just missed.
Back inside, Rapp discovers a 911 call was recently placed from the house and asks Billy to look into the details. Outside in the greenhouse, they look at the various pottery and find more pictures of Laney. Rapp finds a journal full of writings in Ukrainian. Billy calls back with details about the homeowner, Olena Yaha, who has dementia, being taken to the ER after a bad fall.

Olena Yaha invokes Baba Yaga as Henry's dance with the devil
Rapp opens to another page of the journal, which appears to feature a rather obvious drawing of Henry in a flower crown and holding a chicken. Rapp and Carson pay Olena Yaha a visit, and she calls Rapp "Ivan" when she sees him. Rapp gives her a piece of her own pottery as an offering, and Olena says "there must always be three" when she notes the triskele on the bottom.
When Rapp asks Olena about Henry and shows her his photo, she reacts aggressively and calls him a bad dog. Olena mutters that he wanted villy and his teeth were taken out with a hammer, but who knows if the second part is true. While Rapp continues to question Olena to no avail, Carson receives a video from Eckert that was posted on Henry's account.
In the video, the point of view follows the trail of blood in Logan's room through his window and then below, where his dead body lies on the ground. The person in the video points the phone into a mirror. They turn on a lamp to reveal they're wearing the mask from Rapp's daydream earlier in the episode. Rapp furiously asks Olena who the "devil" Henry danced with is. She kisses his hand, whispers Baba Yaga, and seemingly dies as her monitors crash.
Yaga releases new episodes Fridays on AMC+ and Crave.
