Earlier this month, we were anticipating the likelihood that exciting Off Campus season 2 news would be on the way very soon, and thankfully, the word on the street came true. A recent production listing suggested that filming on the hit Prime Video hockey romance series would be wrapping up before then end of September. Well, photos and videos from set have confirmed as much.
In late September 2026, fan videos from the set of Off Campus season 2 displayed series stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli waving to fans after filming some of their last scenes of the second season. The actors celebrated wrapping production as Hannah and Garrett for this cycle of the series, and additional videos from the set found more of the series' stars wrapping, too.
Off Campus season 2 officially wrapped filming
While the show's official social media accounts will surely alert fans with the formal announcement in due time (and we'll share that once it's available), Off Campus season 2 has completed production and post-production will now begin. The cast and crew quickly got back to work filming the next season in June 2026 following the show's premiere and breakout in May.
Being one of the most highly anticipated new seasons, fans will continue to be eager for more updates even after cameras have stopped rolling. No doubt, those will keep rolling in even as the cast jumps to new projects before season 2 premieres. Hopefully, before the year ends, Prime Video will give fans some kind of tease, but that's just us being super hopeful. Come on, Amazon!
The fact that the second season has finished filming brings us one step closer to being able to watch the episodes, but that won't make them arrive any sooner. That's just the unfortunate reality. Prime Video still won't release the episodes until sometime in 2027. Given that the series debuted in the spring, we're expecting another spring or possibly even summer drop next year.
We could even see a shift in the way that Prime Video releases Off Campus season 2. The first season's eight episodes were dropped all at once for fans to be able to binge-watch, but oftentimes the streaming service employs the binge model for debut seasons and changes to a weekly release for future seasons. Because Off Campus became such a hit, weekly drops could be in the cards.
Of course, Prime Video has not revealed any official details about the release schedule because it's far too early for that, but we can still make predictions. As much as fans would want to have access to and absolutely devour the full second season all at once, getting the episodes weekly would actually be much more preferred to make the season last that much longer.
Aside from a possible shift in a release method, Off Campus season 2 will also see a slight shift in persepctive. The first season focused on the love story between Hannah and Garrett, and while they will remain main characters, the second season centers on Allie (Mika Abdalla) and Dean (Stephen Kalyn) getting together after the fireworks of their secret relationship in season 1.
