Ever since Off Campus made its premiere on Prime Video back in May 2026, the series has become one of the biggest new shows on television and the cast has blown up into overnight superstars. Based on the book series by Elle Kennedy, the hockey romance show has taken on a life of its own going into its second season, which we're expecting some good news about soon.
When the series dropped on Prime Video back in May, the writers had already complete writing the second season, which had been renewed far in advance of the show's debut. Making sure to further avoid a long gap between seasons, Off Campus season 2 got a jump on production as filming kicked off in June 2026. Off Campus season 2 wraps filming in September 2026
Back when Off Campus season 2 began filming in the spring, the new episodes were expected to wrap filming in October 2026. However, according to a listing on Production List and the word on the street among fans, the second season is likely to wrap filming in September 2026. While the listing doesn't provide an exact date, the rumored wrap date is Sept. 18. That's so soon!
Needless to say, there's sure to be an exciting announcement shared on the official Off Campus social media accounts before the month of September has ended. Prime Video has kept fans well-informed on the show's production status along the way, sharing casting updates and other bits from the set directly with fans with special announcements on social media.
That's how Shay Rudolph's casting as Dean Di Laurentis' sister Summer was revealed to fans. Rudolph appeared in a video alongside on-screen brother Stephen Kalyn, ending the mystery as to who would be stepping into the shoes of the highly anticipated book character. While the second season is centered on Dean and Allie's love story, Summer will play a big part, too.
Following the show's breakout performance on Prime Video, Off Campus has been all anyone can talk about, but getting right back to work on the follow-up season has prevented the cast from appearing at certain events, like the Obsessed Retreat in Europe. Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright shared a video from set together on Sept. 8 expressing their excitement for fans to see what's in store for season 2.
Even though Off Campus season 2 will finishing production before the end of 2026, don't expect the season to drop in the same calendar year as season 1. Post-production will begin as soon as cameras stop rolling, and the second season will premiere sometime in 2027, at least one year after the first season but could also arrive a bit deeper into summer this time around.
