Bridgerton season 3 is one of the most highly anticipated shows of 2024. It's been a minute since the show was an Emmy nominee. The second season was released on Netflix in the spring of 2022, so it's going to be two years by the time season 3 premieres on Netflix.

The third season will explore the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). This romance has been three seasons in the making, and it's all been building to this. We'll also get to see the return of fan favorites Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) in the third season, as well. Unfortunately, for the first time, Phoebe Dynevor, who starred as Daphne in the first two seasons, won't be back for the new season.

Even more unfortunately, Netflix is splitting the eight-episode season into two parts. It's the way of the future it seems for Netflix, but it's not a great viewing experience with half-season drops a few months apart.

Bridgerton season 4 is already in the works, too! We will share more information about Bridgerton season 3 and beyond when we find out.
