It’s safe to say that, as a Bravo superfan, I hyperventilated at the drop of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s season 7 trailer. Finally, it’s time to grab your snowflakes and head back to Purple Mountains Majesty country. This season is shaping up to be one of the most emotionally loaded yet. Let’s hope the Botox holds up.

Bravo announced that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City would premiere Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock. The network’s official PR statement teased that the group will "agree to set aside their differences and come together.” However, in true Real Housewives fashion, it also warned that "nothing in Salt Lake City lasts forever" and that surprising new relationships are already forming.

Returning this season: Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, Bronwyn Newport, and Whitney Rose, joined by friends Britani Bateman and newcomer Ashley Quai, a Utah native, entrepreneur, and motorcycle enthusiast who quickly gets a taste of how fast rumors travel in this group.

The Salt Lake City tea is ready to be spilled

For the last six seasons, RHOSLC has been a juggernaut for Bravo, with season 7 being heavier than usual. It starts with Mary telling the women, “You all were there for me,” after the devastating loss of her son Robert Jr. The ladies will rally around her, setting aside any feuds.

Elsewhere in the trailer, Heather notes that she is stepping into what she’s calling her “Jupiter year” as she splits her time between her new boyfriend, Tripp, and working on mending bridges with Lisa and Meredith. However, Mer is unlikely to be in the mood to engage with her former bestie. Viewers will also see Bronwyn (my personal favorite) adjusting to life after her split from Todd Bradley and prepping for a big move. The former pair are seen getting into a heated chat during the trailer, with Todd storming off, saying, “I’m not doing this with you. I hope you’re f---ing happy.” Dare I say Bronwyn probably is.

Whitney is still in her healing era and is reevaluating both her friendships and her marriage to her husband, Justin Rose. The pair has a heart-to-heart about the state of their union, questioning whether or not it was “over.” It was reported earlier in the summer that they may be calling it quits after 16 years of marriage. Thankfully, some people never change. Enter Lisa, who is now pursuing a music career (and calling her son an “18-year-old dou**e bag”), while Meredith is launching her own caviar lounge, a venture her husband, Seth Marks, isn't fully sold on, but that isn't stopping her.

Of course there is friendship drama

Even with this group of Bravo stars supposedly coming together, don't expect total peace. And to be honest, we wouldn’t expect anything less than these chaos agents doing what they do best. Angie, our Greek princess, is growing closer to Heather but still can't see eye to eye with Lisa. And love her or hate her, Britani is stirring the pot as usual, even as she insists she's just here for the fun.

Between Mary's heartbreaking season, Heather's new romance, Meredith's business gamble, and the group's shaky attempt at unity, RHOSLC season 7 is setting up to be one of the show's most layered seasons yet, with equal parts heart and messiness, exactly the way we like it.
