Watch the Full Trailer for Matthew McConaughey’s “Sing” (Video)
The full trailer for Sing, starring Matthew McConaughey, has been released.
Matthew McConaughey is a man of many faces. Or, at least he is now. Once upon a time his place in film was easier to identify, and therefore a tad more boring. Things are different now, and Matthew McConaughey is set to star in two animated movies this year — his first, ever.
We recently saw a few quick teases for Sing strung together to create a preview. It was really just an announcement clip for an upcoming trailer, an irksome trend in which announcements receive announcements. The time has now come to unleash the full trailer for Sing, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey and many others. Check it out:

We actually get a look at McConaughey’s character in this one. He’s the koala, though you’d be forgiven by not picking out his voice. This is McConaughey’s least McConaughey performance as he sounds almost nothing like himself. It’s a stark contrast from the voice he uses for Kubo and the Two Strings.
Sing looks to be a reality singing show, except with animals. It’s colorful, bubbly, and fun — all of the things it’s supposed to be as a family movie. This particular trailer doesn’t give away much plot, but since it is only the first one there is plenty of time to do that. The focus so far has been more on the various performers than Matthew McConaughey’s character.

Sing won’t be released until next December, so you can be this won’t be the last we hear of it before then.
