Taylor Kitsch Will Also Star in an Animated Movie This Year
Taylor Kitsch will star in a new animated movie later this year.
Not that much has been said about Taylor Kitsch since the end of True Detective. The former Friday Night Lights star hasn’t been up to all that much since his run on True Detective ended, though we do have at least one new role to look forward to. It’s in stark contrast to Matthew McConaughey, who will appear in every movie for the next two years.

Although we haven’t heard much about Taylor Kitsch, that doesn’t exactly mean that he hasn’t been busy. For example, did you know that he has a new animated movie coming out? Probably not, since there has been next-to-no promotion for it. It’s called Bling, and casts Kitsch as a theme park owner-turned-superhero for love.
It will also star James Woods, by the way. The film, which looks like every other mainstream animated movie — including Matthew McConaughey’s Sing — has an interesting release plan. Starting March 3rd (yesterday) it can be watched on Google Play for free before it eventually goes to theaters.
While that type of digital first release is somewhat unique, it doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in the film itself, especially since it has been flying completely under the radar until now. Those who are curious can head over to Bling’s place on Google Play to watch not only a trailer (which is exclusive to the Play store) but also stream the entire movie for free.

It’s not clear how long it will be up, so you better get to it if it looks like your cut of tea.
