3. The Solversons make an appearance
If there is one thread that runs through Fargo, it’s the Solverson clan. Molly Solverson helped solve the Malvo/Nygaard crisis of the first season, and her dad was involved with the Gerhardt confrontation last season. The Solversons are practically local legends at this point, and considering that season 3 will take place after both of the previous seasons, we’re predicting that there is going to be yet another Solverson involved. It doesn’t have to be directly, but at this point, it wouldn’t be
The Solversons are practically local legends at this point, and considering that season 3 will take place after both of the previous seasons, we’re predicting that there is going to be yet another Solverson involved. It doesn’t have to be directly, but at this point, it wouldn’t be Fargo without at least one member of the family floating around.
4. The time of Gus Grimly is over
There was always something very Fargo about Colin Hanks’ Gus Grimly, and those that have seen the original film would likely agree. Easily befuddled, good-natured, and all around swell single dad, Gus was a major player in the first season.
He, along with the rest of the first season version of the Solverson clan, had a cameo at the end of last season. Gus was never really a major player (that title would belong to Molly) and his time on Fargo has definitely run its course by now. This is a story, or at least was, of the Solverson family, which Gus married into. Although we enjoyed Hanks greatly, we’re not expecting to see him again. Not in this season, or any other.
