Joe Quesada debuts new artwork for upcoming Marvel Netflix series
Jessica Jones hits Netflix Friday but Marvel’s Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada is already getting fans ready for the return of two other series.
Yesterday he released artwork for Daredevil season three, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist season two which led to speculation about how soon the shows will return. Notably absent is Luke Cage, despite the recent announcement that his series will return this June.

While the artwork for Daredevil doesn’t give anything significant away about season three, it’s still pretty awe-inspiring. The image features Matt Murdock taking a leap of faith of a building, perhaps symbolism for the hero’s devout conviction as well as his religion.
Expected to follow the Born Again storyline, not much else is known about season three of the series.

As cool as Joe Quesada’s Jessica Jones artwork is, it’s hard to not compare it to the illustrated covers the show got yesterday. This makes an interesting poster — but ultimately doesn’t shed any light on the upcoming season.
However, of all of the Defenders, she’s definitely has the darkest series which would explain why the art is primarily black.

Iron Fist was a critical flop for Marvel, but fans shouldn’t lose hope yet. The new art from Quesada teases a more colorful version of the hero, who never even donned a version of his comic book suit last season.
With a new showrunner on board, it’s possible that Marvel is hoping to correct some of the larger mistakes that the series had. Joe Quesada, who said this was his favorite of all of the new artwork, has perfectly captured Danny’s mystical energy with his signature shades of yellow and green.
Next: Luke Cage season 2 gets a premiere date
While it’s unclear when Daredevil and Iron Fist will return, this new artwork will definitely please fans who are eagerly awaiting any news. In the meantime, Jessica Jones will hit the streaming service this Friday and Luke Cage will be back in June.
