HBO promo reveals Westworld season 2 footage

New footage for Westworld season 2? Yes, please.

HBO recently released a promo for their upcoming films and television shows. Amongst them was the first look at footage from season two of Westworld hinting at the rebellious uprising of hosts.

With just a little over a month left, we can expect more violence, gore, and thrill when season two returns after 1.5-year hiatus. Season one kept viewers inside the walls of Westworld, however, season two will explore the worlds beyond it, including the outside world.

Last season’s finale teased ShogunWorld, which is a destination we can expect to see going into season two. Apart from new worlds, season two will hopefully shed light on Delos as a company and how they came to be and what their goals were for these worlds.

With the hosts turning against their masters, there is so much story to explore–and we can’t wait!

After the relentless torture that the hosts had to endure, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Maeve (Thandie Newton) are sure to bring hell down on all those that have abused them. In the footage, we see that Dolores has a come long way in becoming independent as a host and is leading the fight against the masters.

And while the Man in Black has long wished for such a moment to take place, he may find himself in a difficult situation.

The promo also showed Logan (Ben Barnes) in a new light speculating that his past and childhood will also be a part of the second season.

Along with Logan, we will also a see young Ford indicating that the park’s history and how it came to fruition will be a big plot for season two. There is so many ways season two can go, and it’s only a matter of time before we dive right back into the world of Westworld.
