When 13 Reasons Why comes back for Season 2, it will also have additional features to help add to the conversation about the hit series.

People loved 13 Reasons Why when it premiered on Netflix last year. The show also caused a bit of controversy because some critics felt the show glorified suicide.

Before season 2 starts, Netflix is taking measures to open up more lines of communication for those who watch the show and might be at risk. They will add a disclaimer video at the beginning of each season of the show.

According to Cinema Blend, the video will have the stars from the show telling the audience that if they go through any of the issues on the show, it may not be the show for them. They also tell the audience how they can get help if they do have feelings of depression or suicide.

One of the resources, 13ReasonsWhy.Info, includes a viewing guide for the show. The site, created by Netflix, gives parents the ability to watch the show along with their kids and gives them talking points on issues that appear in the show, like suicide, bullying, and sexual assault.

In addition to these features, Netflix will be updating it’s aftershow, Beyond the Reasons, from Season 1. The aftershow will include more of the show’s stars, as well as mental health professionals that worked on the series.

13 Reasons Why centers around a teenage boy Clay, played by Dylan Minnette, who uncovers why his crush, Hannah (Katherine Langford), decided to commit suicide through 13 cassette tapes she left behind. Each tape explains one reason why she chose to end her life.
