The Handmaid’s Tale drops season two trailer

Hulu just dropped a season two trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale — and you are not ready.
“There probably is no out, Gilead is within you.”
These words are uttered by Offred/June (Elisabeth Moss) in the latest trailer of The Handmaid’s Tale. In the epic trailer released yesterday, we are thrown into the chaotic world of Gilead and the repercussions of June being on the run.
Not to mention, June’s husband, Luke, and her best friend, Moira (Samira Wiley) are protesting against the world of Gilead and a part of “The Resistance” movement in Canada. The world seems to be falling apart in the latest trailer but in a good way.
June is on the run and pregnant, and we hope this will result in some badass revenge against those who have oppressed and abused the women forced to live under the rules of Gilead.
We finally get a look at the dreadful, depressing Colonies where both Emily (Alexis Bledel) and Janine (Madeline Brewer) are being punished for their sins, according to Gilead, of course. And this isn’t the only thing that will catch your eye as you watch the season two trailer.
Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) and Fred (Joseph Fiennes) are seen arguing over June’s escape as Serena realizes they may be accused of joining the Resistance and helping June escape.
It appears we may also gain deeper insight into what led to the creation of Gilead. A scene with Serena and Fred protesting in support of Gilead and it’s world is altogether frightening and haunting as the people around them scream in support.
