Goliath will return for season 2 in June
Amazon Prime drama series Goliath will return on June 15 for its second season.
It’s been almost two years since we last saw Billy Bob Thornton’s broken-down lawyer, Billy McBride. But Deadline reports that on June 15th he’ll be back in the second season of Amazon Prime’s drama Goliath.
Amazon also released an official trailer for the new season, which you can check out above.
In the first season of the critically acclaimed series, Billy redeemed himself by scoring a big win in his wrongful death suit against Borns Tech.

In the eight-episode second season, it seems Billy’s drinking more than ever, and worrying his daughter. But he’s pulled into a new case when he decides to defend a 16-year-old who’s been accused of a double homicide.

As Billy and his team look deeper into the case, they learn that it isn’t as straightforward as it originally appeared. Instead, it involves a greater conspiracy involving a drug cartel that takes them into Los Angeles’s heart of darkness. It all sounds very Chinatown.
Based on the trailer, it looks like this season will be quite a ride, packed with tension, violence, and shocking revelations.
This season will also see the addition of new cast members Mark Duplass as a developer who has big dreams for redesigning the Los Angeles skyline and Morris Chestnut as the Chief Deputy District Attorney.
Lawrence Trilling (Parenthood) and Geyer Kosinkski (Fargo) serve as executive producers for the second season.
