Game of Thrones news: Will Jason Momoa appear on the final season?

Jason Momoa posted an ambiguous picture on his Instagram leaving Game of Thrones fans to speculate.

Could Khal Drogo make a triumphant return to the last season of Game of Thrones?

It’s a theory that many fans have been dreaming about since Drogo died in season 1. Except for a quick appearance in Daenerys’ vision on season 2, we haven’t seen him again on screen.

Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have denied a Drogo appearance for quite some time. However, rumors swirled again when Jason Momoa posted a picture on his Instagram page of himself with Benioff and Weiss.

The cryptic caption reads, “Layovers. Where we going? What are we doing? What’s the score here? What’s next? Aloha j”

This could be one of three things.

The picture could mean that he is on his way to the set of Game of Thrones with Benioff and Weiss to shoot some scenes, meaning he will appear in the final season in some way, shape, or form! And Jason Momoa fans scream around the world in delight.

Since the setting of the picture shows Momoa, Benioff, and Weiss sitting in an airport, another reason could be that they ran into each other on their way to Hawaii.

But another reason could be that the showrunners are trying to convince him to come back for the final season, and the meeting was premeditated.

Regardless of the reason, Momoa is clearly playing around with avid Game of Thrones fans with his messaging. And fans can spend the next ten months speculating.

Many fans think that Dany’s vision from season 2 is actually a prophecy.

Fans believe Dany will burn down King’s Landing to conquer Westeros. So, if Dany has any other visions in this jam-packed last season, it could involve an appearance of her first husband and baby daddy.
