Does Sophie Turner’s new ink spoil the Game of Thrones ending?

Many actors on long-running TV shows get a tribute tattoo – but this Game of Thrones actress could be the key to the end.

Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, is sporting something else in addition to an engagement ring – a new tattoo.

Why is this significant enough to report about it? Celebrities get tattoos all the time. Well, it’s important because the new ink could be giving away a major Game of Thrones spoiler.

The tattoo, located on Turner’s arm reads, “The pack survives” and has the Stark’s family symbol, the dire wolf, above it.

So, does this mean our beloved Starks, Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Jon (even though he’s half Targaryen) survives Season 8? I sure hope so!

The picture of Turner’s tattoo popped up on the tattoo artist’s Instagram last week. Since then, fans have been freaking out on Twitter saying it could be a significant spoiler. However, some fans were quick to point out that the tattoo references a quote by Ned Stark in Season One.

“The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

With these Game of Thrones actors being sworn to such secrecy, I can’t imagine Sophie would be so careless as to get a tattoo containing a spoiler, then allow her tattoo artist, Lauren Winzer, to share it.

Plus, Winzer shared the photo five days ago, and it’s still up. If it were a spoiler and Game of Thrones showrunners caught wind of it, they would have made Turner and Winzer take it down immediately.

I think it’s safe to say that this isn’t an actual spoiler. We will have to wait until Game of Thrones returns next year to find out what happens to the Starks.

Do you agree – is Turner’s new ink a tribute to her TV family or a spoiler of their fate? Let us know in the comments!
