Better Call Saul’s Mike Ehrmantraut is here to educate you on security training

It looks like Mike Ehrmantraut has taken a step away from Better Call Saul for the moment to teach the ins and outs of security training.

“You’re like a time bomb tick-ticking away, and I have no intentions for being around for the boom.”

Now, where have I heard that before?

Better Call Saul has once again teamed with AMC’s digital team Bacon & Sons to create a series of informational videos. For Season 3, it was employee training videos for Los Pollos Hermanos featuring restaurant co-founder (and mob boss drug kingpin) Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito). For Season 4, we get another familiar Breaking Bad-alum/Better Call Saul character in Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), and he’s teaching proper security training.

Throughout both AMC series, Mike was an expert criminal including jobs for both Fring and Saul Goodman as a hitman, cleaner, private investigator, and the righthand man of Fring, himself. Mike is no stranger to the ins and outs of security (especially getting right past it as you may see how easy it looks in the video).

More from Better Call Saul

The video starts off establishing that Mike is working for Madrigal Electromotive Security (that might seem familiar to you). He doesn’t seem too enthused and as usual, he looks as if he could fall asleep at any moment. The video has demonstrations via animation as Mike displays how easy it can be to get into your building (and past your security), if employees are not properly trained for the situation. Along the way he also provides many tips for what to look out for and how to keep your security…secure.

The first course is in the video below. Lesson 1: Employee Accountability:

Enlightening isn’t it? And that was only the first lesson.

Mike has left us with this important piece of advice: “One weak link is everyone’s failure.”

dark. Next. Breaking Bad almost killed off this major character

If you’re craving more, fear not, this is just the first video of a 10-video series. Catch the first three on AMC Premiere (members only), or wait till after Season 4 of Better Call Saul concludes to see the rest.

It also makes me wonder who we’ll see pop up for next season’s training videos since Better Call Saul has already been renewed for a Season 5.
