The journey of our favorite T.V. lawyer is far from over, as Better Call Saul has been renewed for Season 5.

Well, it’s safe to say that Vince Gilligan’s spinoff prequel series of Breaking Bad has been quite a success. Before an episode of Season 4 of Better Call Saul has even aired, a Season 5 has already been confirmed.

The show has really come into its own over the past few seasons. The third season ranked as the #5 cable drama among adults 25-54 along with piling up the awards and nominations.

The announcement was made at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. Thrilled by the announcement, Saul actor Bob Odenkirk decided to drop down his pants to show off his new temporary tattoo, which happened to be in a place on his backside that some might not want to see. The tattoo says Aug. 6 (the premiere date of Season 4) and Better Call Saul inside of a black heart with an arrow through it.

“I’m a real company man,” said Odenkirk, “I want everybody to know when it’s coming back. It was such a long wait. So where can I put the information where everybody will see it?”

President of AMC programming, SundanceTV, and AMC Studios, David Madden, announced how excited he was to take these shows (Better Call Saul among them), to the next chapter.

"“It’s a privilege to continue collaborating with and sharing the vision of the talented creatives behind these series, and we’re excited to start exploring the next chapter in the lives of these unique and complex characters.”"

Other announced AMC renewals are Fear The Walking Dead (for its fifth season) and McMafia (for its second season). They’ll join previously announced The Terror Season 2 among AMC’s renewed lineup.

Better Call Saul Season 4 returns August 6 on AMC, a season that creator Vince Gilligan has teased to be the shows “best season yet.”
