Game of Thrones actor may be the next Bond
Could a former Game of Thrones fan favorite be the next 007?
Robb Stark may have met his maker on Season 3 of Game of Thrones, but the actor who played him may be playing another famous literally and film hero.
Daniel Craig, who currently plays James Bond, will be hanging up his 007 employee badge after the next movie (Bond 25) comes out. That leaves the famous spy role wide open for someone new.
Many have speculated the next Bond could be Idris Elba, making him the first African-Caribbean actor to take the role. But now the Sun is reporting the Barbara Broccoli, the executive producer of the James Bond film franchise has listed Richard Madden at the top of her list.

Since leaving Game of Thrones, Madden has played the Prince in Disney’s live-action version of Cinderella and most recently appeared on the thrilling series Bodyguard. It was this performance that caught Broccoli’s eye and made her think he was the right person to fill Craig’s shoes.
This got me thinking, will Madden be a believable Bond?
Admittedly, my knowledge of James Bond is limited. I know he’s a debonair spy who drinks martinis (shaken, not stirred), and that men want to be him and ladies want to be with him.
That’s about it.
So, if we’re going for someone who guys like and idolize and the ladies are crushing on him, who better to play Bond than Madden?
As Stark, he was the hero and the person every fan was rooting for after his father (Ned Stark) was killed at the end of Season 1. He’s also a great actor and has proven that he can play many different roles.
So, I think he’ll have no problem knocking this out of the park. And if he doesn’t, there are a plethora of hot British men (or women) to take a shot.
