A Million Little Things isn’t going anywhere, folks!

A Million Little Things just got itself an early season 2 renewal by ABC, and it’s safe to say many of us are ecstatic. In its premiere season, the series has made a place for itself with the intriguing drama behind a lead character’s suicide, and the heartfelt stories of each of their characters. A Million Little Things prides itself on one thing–taking the time to explore each storyline.

This is perhaps why it has gained so much success in such a short period of time. It has the vibe of a family drama like This Is Us but has been able to stand out on its own as well. While many have made the comparison, A Million Little Things still has its own story to tell. The premise of the series is about a group of friends and their families and the intertwinement of their lives. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and then you’ll ugly cry.

The season 2 renewal doesn’t come as a shocker considering the fan following the series has gained. In fact, it has done so well that it secured a spot on Thursday nights right after Grey’s Anatomy, which is a pretty darn big deal. Not to mention, it is ABC’s highest-rated new series, per Deadline. In addition, it comes in third for ABC’s highest-rated drama following Grey’s Anatomy and The Good Doctor.

We’re excited about the season 2 renewal and can’t wait to see where the story will take off following however season 1 will end. What are your thoughts on this early renewal? Share your thoughts below!
