American Horror Story: Evan Peters won’t be in the next season
By Ariba Bhuvad
What is American Horror Story without Evan Peters? Looks like we’ll find out next season.
American Horror Story is about to lose (hopefully only temporarily) one of its resident cast members. During an interview at WonderCon last weekend, Evan Peters he will not be in the upcoming ninth season of the show. This marks the first time ever Peters will not be on the show, and it’s safe to say we will miss his presence tremendously.
Peters, along with Sarah Paulson, is the face of American Horror Story so it’s hard to imagine the series without either of them. I’m not ready for this drastic change, and I’m really hoping it is a one season break. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens, but season nine will not be the same without Peters.
We don’t know much else about the ninth season of American Horror Story, but Emma Roberts will be coming back in a role alongside Olympian Gus Kenworthy, according to Entertainment Weekly. Every season fans look forward to finding out what the theme of the season will be, and as of now, there has been no information released. Knowing Ryan Murphy, it will continue to be cryptic and out there, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Peters will be starring in the next X-Men movie, Dark Phoenix–the reason why he was at WonderCon last weekend. He was also in the first season of Murphy’s record-breaking series Pose, but there has been no confirmation as to whether or not we will see him return for season 2. I vote for him coming back because 1) we need him in a Ryan Murphy series in 2019 and 2) he was amazing in it!
