Black Mirror season 5 episode titles and trailers released by Netflix

Black Mirror, Black Mirror on the Netflix wall, which season 5 episode is the best of them all?

Black Mirror is just a couple weeks away from premiering its fifth season which will consist of three episodes (can’t we get more?). As always, they will focus on the role technology plays in our lives and how it has become increasingly detrimental to our day-to-day lives. Earlier this week, Netflix released the episode names along with individual trailers for each, and I have to say, I’m so here for the one starring Miley Cyrus.

Here are the episodic trailers along with their names and a brief synopsis, according to a report by Deadline:

Starring Andrew Scott, Damson Idris, and Topher Grace, this episode focuses on a cab driver who garners international attention over a personal situation. Sherlock fans will spot a familiar face in the trailer and be immediately thrust back to the haunting Moriarty days.

“Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too”

This is the Black Mirror season 5 episode that I’m most excited because it stars Miley Cyrus as a teen sensation suffering from the spotlight and pressures of being famous. Sound like a familiar story, anyone? But the episode doesn’t simply follow this famous teen singer, but in fact, follows a diehard fan who has made her whole life about Cyrus’ character. “Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too” also stars Angourie Rice and Madison Davenport.

“Striking Vipers”

Thank you Black Mirror for giving us the Marvel/DC crossover that we all deserve, but will never get. Starring Avengers’ Anthony Mackie and Aquaman’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, “Striking Vipers” follows two old friends who re-connect under the strangest circumstances. The episode also stars Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff (Mantis!), and Ludi Lin.

Once again, series creator Charlie Brooker is leading the charge for the upcoming season, and will surely have some crazy adventures in store for the fans. After all, he has not disappointed us yet!

Don’t miss Black Mirror season 5 when it drops all three episodes on June 5th!
