Mrs. Fletcher: HBO drops first trailer for upcoming dramedy
HBO has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming series Mrs. Fletcher starring Kathryn Hahn.
Mrs. Fletcher centers on Hahn’s eponymous divorcee, Eve Fletcher, who finds herself exploring her fantasies when her son leaves for college. In the description that accompanies the trailer, the HBO dramedy is described as a
"…dual coming-of-age story, exploring the impact of internet porn and social media on the lives of… Eve… and her college freshman son Brendan."
The racy promo shows Hahn watching porn, fantasizing about the girl handing out juice at the supermarket, and engaging in various intimacies.

Mrs. Fletcher is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Tom Perrotta, who also wrote the novel that was adapted for the HBO series The Leftovers. The hit series just celebrated its fifth anniversary this weekend.
Hahn is best known for her work in Transparent and Bad Moms as well as multiple recurring roles in popular TV comedies like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Parks & Recreation, and The Kroll Show.
Eve’s son Brendan will be played by Jackson White. who’s appeared in SEAL Team and The Middle.
The series also stars Casey Wilson (Happy Endings), Owen Teague (Bloodline), Jen Richards (Nashville), Domenick Lombardozzi (Rosewood), Cameron Boyce (Descendants) and Katie Kershaw in her first major onscreen debut. Meanwhile, Jasmine Cephas Jones (A member of Broadway’s original cast of Hamilton) will play a recurring role.
Celebrated independent film director Nicole Holofcener (Enough Said, Lovely & Amazing) will direct the HBO series. She will also serve as executive producer alongside Perotta, Jessi Klein, and Sarah Condon.
