Orange Is The New Black drops heartfelt final season trailer

Orange Is The New Black just released its final season trailer–and trust us when you say, you’re not ready for it.

Orange Is The New Black is ending after seven seasons of drama, love, heartbreak, and everything in between. It’s going to be so difficult to say goodbye to a show that has meant so much to so many people. It’s almost like the annual reunion we always look forward to is being snatched away from us, and let me tell you, it’s making me super sad.

Netflix dropped the trailer for the final season of Orange Is The New Black and it is just as emotional as one would expect. Deadline reported this just earlier this week and shared the highly anticipated trailer which promises an epic conclusion to the story of our favorite inmates.

If you are not caught up on the series prior to the season 7 premiere, then I urge you to stop reading this article as we will be getting into some spoilers about last season and what that will mean for the seventh and final season. You have been warned! Get it? Got it? Good!

We last left Litchfield in a bit of chaos as Piper was finally released and Taystee was being faced with a life sentence. It’s safe to say, a lot is going to take place in the final season, and it won’t be easy to watch. Watching the trailer above is indication enough that a lot of things have to come together rather quickly to give fans a satisfying ending.

So much has changed for these characters over the multiple seasons of Orange Is The New Black and their trajectory has landed them in questionable and difficult situations. What will be the end story for each of them? Will there be any peace when the show plays out its final moments? Or will life continue to be too difficult to bear?

I, for one, am looking forward to seeing how Piper does out in the real world now that Litchfield is in her rearview mirror. It won’t be easy, and based on the trailer alone, she’s going to be very frustrated and lost. But will she make it out there okay? Or will she find an excuse to put herself back behind bars as Taystee once did?

I have so many questions about the final season, and luckily, only one more month left until I get my answers (I hope!).

Orange Is The New Black will premiere its seventh and final season on Netflix on July 26th!
