Cliff McCormack

While he’s not exactly a main character, Cliff McCormack has been a reliable presence on Veronica Mars since the very beginning. The helpful lawyer has been confirmed for the revival, which makes sense because he’s often heading to Mars Investigation to give them a job or help out the family. From the first episode, he’s always had faith in Veronica and happily hands over cases despite knowing her age. He’s even broken the law a few times to try in order to assist in whatever she needs. We definitely expect to see more of the same from Cliff in the Hulu series.

Veronica Mars — “Heads You Lose” – Episode 404 — Convinced the bomber is still at large, Veronica visits Chino to learn more about Clyde and Big Dick. Mayor Dobbins’ request for help from the FBI brings an old flame to Neptune. Veronica confronts her mugger. Vinnie Van Lowe

Ah yes, the rival “private eye” to Keith Mars. If someone is doing something sketchy in Neptune, there’s a strong chance that Vinnie Van Lowe knows about it. Unsurprisingly, he’ll be back for the Hulu series and he probably knows a bit more than he originally lets on.

Throughout the series, Vinnie’s defining characteristic is that he’ll do anything as long as he’s paid enough. He takes on every case that the Mars’ family sends his way, usually because they’re too immoral for Keith and Veronica. In the movie, the latter catches him using celebrities’ tablets to record them and then selling the videos to the highest bidder. Not exactly the guy you want in your corner when times get tough.
