Apple TV+ has released the new teaser trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s series Servant, and it’s pretty creepy.

When done right, teaser trailers can produce a succulent amount of anticipation in the little time it has. That was definitely the case with the two teasers for the new Apple TV+ series Servant.

Created by M. Night Shyamalan, Servant will tell the story of a Philadelphia couple who is in the deep stages of mourning after a tragic loss. Numerous “unexplained” tragedies threaten to destroy their marriage, but there is also a new, sinister force that enters their home.

Each teaser is only 25-seconds long, but that’s all it really takes for this series to grab hold of you.

The first trailer shows a rocker with a baby watching news of trash littered all over the grass. The camera then quickly turns to a bug-eyed baby who is being rocked, then it fades to the title card. That scene was deeply creepy, and the way the camera flashed toward the baby will send chills down your spine.

If that wasn’t enough, Servant gave us a second 25-second teaser, which shows a woman (we presume is the wife) brushing her teeth. We can then hear the woman narrating, “My aunt used to say that when a cricket came into your home, something bad was coming.”

We then see a cricket come out of the bathtub drain, hinting that something indeed was coming, and it wasn’t good.

While the second trailer didn’t have the same level of creep out factor as the first, it still produced a lot of intrigue in just 25 seconds. These two clips were our first look into Servant, in which Shyamalan kept quiet about while tightening up the series.

Check out the trailers above, and Servant will premier on Apple TV+ on Oct. 3.
