The Purge Season 3 and Treadstone Season 2 not moving forward at USA Network

USA Network is not moving forward with The Purge Season 3 or Treadstone Season 2. Is there hope for either show to be saved by another network?
The USA Network is making significant changes to its slate ahead of the upcoming television season. They have decided not to move forward with The Purge Season 3 or Treadstone Season 2.
The Purge is one of many horror-franchise-turned-television-series, and it failed to gain much traction in either of its first two seasons. That said, the second improved a lot over the first season, it would have been interesting to see what direction The Purge Season 3 went had it gotten another chance.
Treadstone was also based on a popular film franchise, the Bourne series. But it failed to pick up steam after its single season and has since been canceled. Deadline reports that both dramas were on the pricier side and did not get enough ratings to be worth the cost.

The Purge was a breakout in its first season, but viewership quickly declined afterward. Dare Me was also canceled by USA after only one season.
Based on the article, it sounds like USA is planning to move away from scripted content and focus more on unscripted and live television. Their scripted projects will be “eventized” television and not much else.
The network had streaming deals with Amazon Prime for Treadstone and The Purge, so the streaming service could rescue them. Dare Me seems to have formed more of a passionate fanbase than the other two, but none of them seem to have a dedicated, loyal group behind them like other major rescues such as Lucifer or Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
While I would encourage fans to lobby for the shows to be saved on social media, in this case, I’m not sure if the odds are in your favor.
At least fans of The Purge aren’t completely out of luck, a fifth film is due in theaters this summer.
