When will Pennyworth Season 2 premiere on Epix?
According to The Futon Critic, EPIX has released a new press release containing lots of exciting information about Pennyworth Season 2. At the recent New York Comic-Con, the premium cable service debuted a new poster, trailer, casting news and premiere date for the show revolving around the titular Wayne family butler, Alfred Pennyworth.
The press release revealed that Pennyworth Season 2 would premiere on Dec. 13.
Air Date Schedule:
- Episode 201 – Dec. 13
- Episode 202 – Dec. 21
- Two-part mid-season finale – Dec. 27
All remaining episodes of Pennyworth Season 2 will debut in 2021.

Simon Manyonda (His Dark Materials) will play Lucius Fox while Jessica de Gouw (Arrow) has been cast as Melanie Troy.
Lucius is a young American scientist and an integral part of the DC Comics universe. His arrival in Season 2 will signify his introduction to the Wayne family. As comics and film fans know, Lucius is calm, honest, direct and precise. He is a man of his word, while his enemies find him judgmental and domineering.
Melanie appears to be an original character for Pennyworth Season 2. A military orphan, Melanie has a dark sense of humor and bright intelligence that makes her hard to pin down. She married an assertive older man but has never been the meek, subservient housewife type. As the wife of Alfie’s former SAS Captain, the two forge an instant connection.
Other series regulars joining for Season 2 include James Purefoy (The Following) as Captain Gulliver Troy, Edward Hogg (Jupiter Ascending) as Colonel Salt and Jessye Romeo (Curfew) as Katie Browning. Ramon Tikaram (Jupiter Ascending) will return as Inspector Victor Aziz in a series regular role, as will Harriet Slater (Emily and the Magical Journey) as Sandra Onslow.

For those unfamiliar with the EPIX series, Pennyworth “is a drama series based on DC characters created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. It follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), Bruce’s billionaire father, in 1960s London.”
A new trailer for the upcoming season was also released.
