For instance, Mickey and Minnie are designed to appear like their old-styled black and white forms however their movement is something seen in more recent animation. Their movement is often very fast and dramatic to emphasize the emotion of the scene they are in.

The same could be said of the humor as some jokes are worthy of chuckles from years past and others almost seem surprising for the likes of Mickey Mouse.

The Disney Plus series adds a nice touch of making references to other Disney films or characters such as Mickey Mouse trying to read a book titled, “Bambi”, Mickey and his friends enjoying a night at a roller rink titled “Yen Sid” and the gang hanging out in the ballroom of Beast’s castle.

The episodes move at a nice pace for eight minutes, as the plots are just perfect for the small amount of time without feeling too rushed or too dragged out.

If this sounds like something you think you or your family would enjoy then give it a try. With the cold weather setting, it can be a nice way to watch something classic yet new without the worry of spending countless TV watching hours.
