Made for Love Season 2: Plot, release date & more

Made for Love Season 1 has wrapped and if you watched the season finale, then you, like me, are probably eagerly awaiting any possible news Made for Love Season 2. Surely the show can’t leave us hanging forever with both Herb and Hazel now trapped in the hub?
Thankfully, the show’s executive producers Christina Lee and Alissa Nutting are already thinking about where they can take the show from here. The pair recently chatted with TVLine about their plans for another season, should HBO decide to renew it.
Moving forward, they would address some of our biggest questions, like what’s going to happen to Herringbone and Fiffany inside the pasture cube and how Hazel and Byron’s relationship dynamic will change now that they’re back inside the hub together.
What will Made for Love Season 2 be about?
Hazel made the incredibly selfless decision to give up her freedom for life back in the hub under Byron’s rule, if he agreed to help her dad get treatment for his pancreatic cancer. The thing is, it’s hard to imagine that Byron is genuine when he says he’s going to change and do things differently now. He’s a sociopathic narcissist who only acts in his best interest.
And what was with that whole, “Greg Benson” thing? It’s hard to believe anything that comes out of Byron’s mouth, but it will be fascinating to see how his and Hazel’s dynamic changes and grows. Plus, what’s going to happen to Herb? Will he realize what’s going on? Will Judiff intervene?
When will Made for Love Season 2 premiere?
If Made for Love returns –– and I feel like there is a good chance it will since it was critically acclaimed and the cast seems game to continue the story –– then I think it would premiere around the same time next year. So long as the pandemic doesn’t get in the way, there’s no real reason to think the series couldn’t stay on track for an April premiere, or perhaps sometime in the summer!
