Is there a new episode of Made for Love tonight, April 22?

It’s Thursday, which for the past few weeks means a new episode of Made for Love would be available to stream on HBO Max. Can you expect a new one today?

Unfortunately, there won’t be a new episode of Made for Love to watch on HBO Max today, April 21 as the show officially wrapped for the season last week. Since HBO Max uses a unique hybrid-release plan for their shows, they tend to release two or three episodes at one time on a weekly basis, so it’s a mixture of traditional linear airings and a binge-watch model.

The first season of Made for Love ended on a bittersweet, yet poignant, note. Realizing that her dad is suffering from pancreatic cancer and refusing treatments (meaning he likely has less than a year left to live) Hazel is forced to agree to Byron’s terms and agree to the hub so he can save Herb.

But Hazel doesn’t want her dad to know what she’s done. She and Byron carefully orchestrate a plan to knock Herb unconscious and then stealthily maneuver him and all of his belongings into the cube where they recreate his living conditions exactly, including Diane.

Made for Love is officially over for the season.

Going into Season 2, should it be renewed, we’ll see how Hazel adapts to living in this new and supposedly improve hub with a Byron who has promised to be less controlling. It will probably only be a matter of time before Herb finds out the truth. Plus, there is still Judiff to contend with, who knows what Hazel has done.
