What condition will Max be in for following Stranger Things season 4?

For so much of this season, audiences did not know why Vecna was targeting Max specifically. The deaths of Chrissy and Fred were seen as them blaming themselves, but Max clearly did not kill her brother Billy.

Unfortunately, that is not how Max’s traumatized subconscious saw it. After enduring Vecna’s curse and being dead for a short while, Max has a lot of physical and psychological recovery ahead of her.

Even though she has already sacrificed everything in their quest to put an end to Vecna, will there be enough time for Max to heal up before the next big battle against him?

Who will make it out alive?

So many folks, the author included, thought there was going to be at least one death in the main protagonist group following the conclusion of Stranger Things season 4. Eddie’s character was beautifully written and told, but his short tenure would not hold the same weight as a character who has been around for years.

Just like any show where they narrowly escape death each and every season, audiences are almost clamoring for one of their favorite Hawkins residents to die. The biggest names circulating that could possibly not make it out alive have been Steve, Robin, Mike, and Max.

However, this next and final season looks to have every Hawkins resident that audiences have grown to love involved. This means Mike and Nancy’s parents, Dustin’s mom, possibly Mr. Munson, and surely many others.

Which means it is important to also think of which minor recurring characters are going to be in danger as well.
