The Daryl Dixon spinoff has previously been one of the least talked about spinoffs in TWDU. But it has been a busy week for The Walking Dead actor.

Fans of Norman Reedus (Daryl) have recently been spoiled by the plethora of filming photos. Putting two and two together, we can see Daryl is in France and looks to be helping a family reunite with a younger actor and Clémence Poésy.

Twitter outlets say and hope that there will be an official release from AMC about the title for the Daryl Dixon spinoff by the end of February. A once TWD: Daryl Dixon now looks to be called Raise The Dead, unofficially revealed per the actor’s Instagram stories.

If you look close enough the name Daryl Dixon/Raise The Dead can be seen. It’s at the very least a much more creative name than just Daryl Dixon.

It also looks like Daryl and the gang will be filming at a very historic location for a month at Fort de Cormeilles in Paris. This was a site used during the Franco-Prussian war.

The German army used this site as a way to attack the city of Paris from the hill.

What do we know about the Daryl Dixon spinoff?

We have seen some amazing scenery for this spinoff. While we still have yet to see if the plot will live up to the hype, here is what we know about it so far.

Daryl Dixon will find himself in France with no real knowledge of how he got there. Whether he is taken or gets there by accident, remains to be seen.

Scott Gimple described the Daryl we will see as a reset. He will embark on his journey to find a way to get back home, but along the way, he will make connections that might hinder those plans.

Will Daryl’s destination to France be his last?

Who is the leading lady?

Clémence Poésy is the actress who is the biggest female name in the spinoff so far. She will be playing a character named Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group.

However, Norman Reedus swears that she is not the leading lady. There is some unconfirmed news and rumors that Melissa McBride will be joining the spinoff in season 2.

The word is that season 2 will directly follow season 1. There won’t be much of a break for Norman and the crew will jump right into the second season, where McBride could join and return as Carol.

The news of this has been spreading ever since a well-known YouTuber claimed that he heard she would be joining, and they would be marching right into a season 2. Though once again, nothing is confirmed.

This is a YouTuber that visits the sets frequently and could have a lot of contacts. We will keep you updated on the news as it comes.
