The Walking Dead: Who will Avant Strangel be playing in Raise The Dead?

With lots of buzz for the highly anticipated new The Walking Dead spinoff with Daryl Dixon, we have another highly touted actor to add to the cast list. Avant Strangel is an American actor who will play a radio operator in the series.
Strangel has taken the art of entertainment to another level as he is an actor, writer, model, musician, and voice actor, as well as a competitive fencer. Avant is most notable for Make it Soul, an animated short from 2018 about James Brown and Solomon Burke.

He is also known for a French sci-fi series Missions for two years where he played Mike Todd. In 2020 he starred as Sidney Bechet in the television miniseries La Garconne.
Strangel took to Instagram to share some of his memories and work on the upcoming show. We all welcome Avant Strangel to The Walking Dead family and can’t wait to see his contribution to the Daryl Dixon’s spinoff, unofficially titled as Raise The Dead.
What we know about The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon spinoff
We hope he had as much fun as it looks over in Paris. As of what we know right now about the upcoming spinoff, it seems to be a mystery how Daryl Dixon got to Paris.
Or how he will return home. The archer we’ve all grown to know and love will have to reinvent himself in a new land, far away from home and away from everyone he loves.
We will get to see the relationships he has to form along the way with others. Which for Daryl, is very out of his comfort zone.

The first TWDU spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City, will air on June 18. Not long from now we will have the very, long-awaited answers to the multitude of questions regarding why Maggie and Negan are working together again.
While there is no set release date for the Daryl Dixon spinoff, AMC has confirmed it will be aired in the latter half of 2023. Meanwhile the Rick and Michonne spinoff, which is currently filming, is set to air in 2024.
It should also be noted that per rumors, the Daryl Dixon series is already filming season 2. This is a rumor as nothing has been confirmed by AMC as of yet.
But some crew members have begun posting about France 2.0. Even more rumors are circulating that Melissa McBride will be joining as well.
Time will tell as more information comes in, but we will be sure to keep you updated.
