AMC: Fear the Walking Dead adds Isha Blaaker to final cast
By Shay McBryde
Run The World and Tyler Perry’s A Madea Homecoming actor Isha Blaaker will be joining the cast of Fear the Walking Dead in a recurring role this final season. There isn’t much information about his character yet, but he will be playing the role of a man named Frank.
As of right now in Fear the Walking Dead, we know the battle is about to begin between our survivors and PADRE. Daniel is heading up the army of parents and Morgan, Grace, and Mo are about to join them in the hopes to end their regime and reunite the rest of the kids with their parents.
Or at least as many as they can. Could Isha Blaaker’s character be linked to PADRE or will he have a brand-new plot all together for this spinoff of The Walking Dead?
Blaaker’s other most notable roles include The Flight Attendant, and Red Riding Hoods.
Who is Frank on Fear the Walking Dead?
The only thing we know for certain is that the character of Frank will be a pivotal role in the upcoming season. After the PADRE threat is over, I doubt there will be much down time for the gang.
As we know in the apocalyptic world, danger is lurking around every turn. You fight one war, and another will just be around the corner.
Frank could also have a connection with somebody we already know. Rumors about a Troy resurrection have been circulating for the past year.
His chair was even recently spotted on set this last Sunday in Fear’s official Instagram stories. No official word has been spoken about the character, whether in a full return or flashback.
There are just a couple more episodes to go in the first half of the season. The second half of Fear the Walking Dead will air later this year.
Let’s hope we can see Blaaker before the big break. Fear the Walking Dead season 8 episode 5 will air on AMC June 11, on its regular time slot.
Don’t forget that the following Sunday June 18, Dead City will be premiering at 9PM ET and mid-season finale of Fear the Walking Dead will be airing after.
Who do you think Frank is? How do you think he’ll affect the rest of the season?
