That’s why the streaming platform renewed the YA series for a fourth season way before the current season even dropped. As for season 4, production and filming are already underway. If things go as smoothly as they are right now, we’ll be tuning in on the fourth installment in no time.
Production began in this summer around the time of season 3’s release in August in Canada. Netflix announced the start of production on Aug. 6, 2026. e don't know exactly how long filming will last. Usually, these seasons take about five or six months to film. Production should wrap on season 4 in the next few months.
As for the release date, nothing has been officially announced, but we hope that Netflix is eyeing another summer release for My Life with the Walter Boys next year. Season 2 and season 3 premiered in August, so fingers crossed the show follows the same pattern.

Then there’s also the curious case of her kissing Eliot. Will the two start dating, or will they just try to move past the whole affair as an honest mistake? What’s more, there’s also the complication of the inevitable college life. Cole obviously doesn’t have the knack for getting into Princeton, and Jackie wouldn’t aim for anything less than the Ivy League.
The real challenge for the upcoming season will be to navigate the complicated situation of Jackie figuring out what she wants most from life. Will she want to stay in Silver Falls, or will she take what she learned and follow the path her parents set for her?

The Walter family parents, played by Sarah Rafferty and Marc Blucas, have remained central to the story and will likely reprise their roles in the next installment. There were two new additions this season, including Erin Karpluk and Naveen Paddock, who played Hannah Walter and Eliot, respectively.
However, the last we saw of Hannah was when she was driving away from the Walter ranch after figuring out that it would be best for Isaac and Lee to stay with Katherine and George. As for Eliot, it naturally seemed that his presence would cause turbulence in Jackie’s life, and it sure did.
Ever since he came to Silver Falls, Eliot has wanted Jackie to return to her roots, and he has gone to great lengths to ensure she moves past Cole. Now that they end up kissing, Eliot will likely have an important role in the upcoming season, so we can count on Paddock to return for season 4.
