Taylor Kitsch Says True Detective Rumors Are False, Maybe

True Detective is nearing the start of production on its second season and the cast is starting to come together. With Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn cast in the show, the series is going to look to cast the remaining roles in the coming weeks. One actor who has been mentioned in talks for the cast is Taylor Kitsch but those rumors may not be as true as we all thought.
According to an interview with Access Hollywood, Kitsch seemed to suggest that the True Detective rumors about him being in the show might have been overblown.
"“Rumored right now, yeah,” Taylor said."
Kitsch followed that up by saying we will know in a few days if he’s in True Detective or not.
"“It would be nice, wouldn’t it? Yeah. So we’ll know in a couple days,” he said."
It sounds like we may be hearing Kitsch announced as part of the cast, but nothing is confirmed as of now. This is something that is a bit unsettling, as Kitsch was assumed to be a part of the cast. that’s not the case right now but we will finally get some confirmation one way or the other in the very near future.
