First up with some weird, though not surprising news, Woody Harrelson wants to be the first on the block to open up a medial marijuana dispensary in Hawaii as soon as it becomes legal to do so. See? A new trailer for Colin Farrell in The Lobster debuted, as did a sort-of trailer announcement for Matthew McConaughey’s Sing. In terms of awards, True Detective lost the Art Director’s Guild Award, though it was nominated for three episodes. The Writer’s Guild Awards are tonight, but True Detective wasn’t nominated. Perhaps that’s how it should be.
Next: Watch a first look of Matthew McConaughey's Sing.
Finally, True Detective producer and head of Anonymous Content, Steve Golin, is all the rage right now. Two of his projects are up for Academy Awards later this month. As always, let’s keep the conversation going on Facebook or Twitter.
Also, have a happy True Detective Valentine’s Day! If that’s even a thing.
