Let’s Take a Look at the Preview for Girls’ Second Episode (Video)
We have to wait six days until the next episode of Girls, so let’s dissect the preview for the next episode.
The season premiere of Girls’ fifth season kept things relatively low-key. That is to say, as low-key as an episode of Girls could possibly be. There was plenty of weeding drama, but it stayed comfortably within Girls’ own limits. Now it’s time to eagerly anticipate what episode two is going to bring to the table.

Girls wants us to know right off the bat that it’s going to explore the Adam/Jessa storyline. That’s a rocky road to go down, but Girls has been missing some drama lately *insert sarcasm here.* Elijah gets plenty of spotlight here, and it looks like he’s going to star working with Ray. Elijah is one of Girls’ strongest characters, and I’ll back that up all day long if needed.
He’s also the complete opposite of the usually uptight Ray, so this pairing promises to be, at the very least, entertaining. Hannah’s dad will also experience some hard times being a newly gay man; another situation in which Elijah can shine.

Unfortunately what’s missing is Shoshanna in Japan. Girls did some shooting in Tokyo, but it hasn’t been eager to show it off yet. It is imperative to see Shoshanna in what could very well be her natural habitat. How long episode two will take place after episode one is not clear, so Shosh could still be in the states. That would be a real bummer.
