Let’s Analyze the Preview for Girls’ Third Episode of the Season
It’s time to take a look at the preview for the upcoming episode of Girls.
Girls has been doing well so far, and we are fast approaching the midway point. All of the storylines have been inching forward, with special attention being paid to Hannah and Adam. The one character that we haven’t seen much of so far, however, is Shoshanna. The next episode, titled “Japan,” promises to be remedy that.
Let’s dig into it:

We’ve so far only heard how great Japan has been to Shosh, but we’ll finally be able to get a better look next episode. Girls spent some time shooting in Japan, so it’s about time we get to see some of it. Right off the bat, in perfect Shoshanna fashion, she decades that she doesn’t even really care about her friends back home.
That has been the theme on Girls beginning last season; the friends don’t get along like they used to, and real life has slowly been moving them farther apart. We also get a look at the inevitable drama between Hannah and Fran — he apparently keeps nude photos of past girlfriends on his phone. Not cool, dude.
Adama and Jessa continue to struggle identifying their relationship, though the only logical place for that storyline to go is for them to end up together, if only temporarily. Elijah is also hanging around, being himself, which is all Girls ever really needs from him.
Next: The press won't be watching Game of Thrones early.
For now, Girls is on a steady path, and this season could prove to be one of the stronger ones.
