Learn About the History of Wizards Before Seeing Colin Farrell in Fantastic Beasts
J.K. Rowling will be releasing a series of articles before the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Colin Farrell currently has a few projects in the works, including the troubled The Lobster which has not yet seen a release in North America. His biggest upcoming project, however, would have to be a major role in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Not much is known about his character yet, and he has hasn’t even been featured in the trailers.

Still, it would be wise of fans of Harry Potter to quickly acquaint themselves with “History of Magic in North America,” a series of articles posted to Pottermore. The idea behind the piece is to bring fans up to date with the dealings of American magic, a subject which is not truly dealt with in the Harry Potter novels.
Since Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them takes place in New York City, it is necessary to know some of its history.
The work will be a short series of pieces, but only the first is up right now. It does not detail any of the characters in the upcoming movie, leaving Colin Farrell’s a mystery for now. It is, fortunately, filled with interesting tidbits about the wizarding world, including the fact that wants apparently originated in Europe.
Next: 'The Swamp' switches the intros of True Detective and True Blood.
The first piece is only the length of a short essay, so there isn’t all that much to get excited about. It’s unlikely that the series will come around to exploring the characters of Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them, and it’s obvious by now that they’re keeping a tight lock on Colin Farrell’s role.
