A new Game of Thrones Clip Aired on Conan Last Night
The new season of Game of Thrones is right around the corner.
The sixth season of Game of Thrones is coming up, and instead of holding back, HBO is continuing the hype as much as possible. To that end, Ian Cunningham went on Conan last night to rep the new season. The new season of Game of Thrones will be the first to not have a book behind it, but there has been enough material skipped over to cherry pick from.

Davos is one of the great Game of Thrones characters, and Liam Cunningham is quite a charmer himself. For those that aren’t caught up, well, it’s probably time to abandon ship. In the above clip we can clearly see Jon Snow’s body, a death which has been in contention since the end of the last season. Everyone involved with the show has been adamant about his death, but fans refuse to believe.
For now, it appears that Jon Snow really is dead. Perhaps (probably) he’ll be magically revived by Melisandre, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find that out. The clip is also representative of one of Game of Thrones’ famous missed connections, in which two major characters just miss meeting. It’s a frequently used trope on the show. Davos traveled all the way to the wall and Jon isn’t even alive to meet him? Of course.

If Jon Snow is brought back to life he has an empty shell-life to look forward to like Beric Dondarion. Or if he warged into Ghost, he’s a Direwolf now. Yay? Speaking of Ghost, there’s a nice shot of him in the clip. The Direwolf budget looks to be a big higher this season — the series has frequently allocated CG budget to the dragons instead of the wolves.
