The Preview for the Next Game of Thrones Brings the Pain
The next episode of Game of Thrones, “Oathbreaker” looks to be intense.
The third episode of Game of Thrones‘ third season might be the single most anticipated episode yet. Last Sunday’s episode, “Home,” saw Melisandre actually raise Jon Snow from the dead. Not that anyone was around to see it. “Oathbreaker,” will, among other things, deal with the consequences of that.
The teaser begins with Jon sitting up before it flashes to the Wildlings, mainly Tormund, staring at what we can assume is Jon. Arya will continue her blind combat training and Ramsay is all smiles. It’s never a good thing when Ramsay smiles.

Daenerys and Cersei will also feature in the next episode, though Dany’s story has so far been slow. Game of Thrones tends to focus only a couple of stories per season and everyone else movies at a snail’s pace. It’s still a little too early to tell who is going to get the short end of the stick.
The title “Oathbreaker” could be a reference to Brienne’s sword, which is named Oathkeeper. Or it could mean something entirely different. Considering that neither Brienne nor Sansa isn’t in the teaser could lend credence to the latter.
The teaser ends with another vision from Bran, who was reintroduced in the last episode. There is no context given for what is being shown, but it does take place what appears to be seconds before a major battle. Bran could very well be witnessing a major point in Westeros history.
Next: Now we know why Westworld was delayed.
Missing from the preview besides Sansa and Brienne is Jamie. At this point, however, Jamie hasn’t been up to much after retiring from Dorne. The Sandsnakes are also not shown, but that could actually be a good thing depending on what you think of that particular storyline.
