HBO film’s adaptation of All The Way premiers tonight. Will you be watching?

HBO has been hyping All The Way for what feels like a long time at this point. For those that are ready to move on, that time if fast approaching. All The Way will premiere tonight on HBO, cleaning the way for something new to come along and eat up all that ad space and time. Hooray?

For those that haven’t been in the loop, All The Way stars Bryan Cranston as president Lyndon B. Johnson during the fight for civil rights. Cranston is reprising the role from the theater production of the same name, and has apparently done a little extra homework in order to fully embody LBJ.

Anthony Mackie stars as Martin Luther King Jr., which is a very different sort of role than what he usually plays in Marvel movies as Captain America’s best bud Falcon. Both actors have been on the late night circuit hyping the movie, and it is expected that All The Way will be getting some attention when award season comes around. The play, after all, was very well-received and pulled in several awards.

Early reviews for All The Way have been very positive, including this one from The Daily Beast. It would be surprising if that didn’t continue to be a trend.
