What can we Expect from the Game of Thrones Comic Con Panel?
Game of Thrones is heading to SDCC, but will it be worth the hype?
The Game of Thrones panels at San Diego Comic Con tend to be worth talking about. New info doesn’t usually leak out, but it is a great time that allows both fans and the actors to have a little fun. Unfortunately these good times tend to be exclusive to SDCC — New York Comic Con gets the short end of the stick — but we live in the future, so they’re all shared online.
Game of Thrones just ended its sixth season with the best season finale it has ever delivered, and that doesn’t even necessarily have anything to do with the surprisingly high body count. The opening scene in the Sept of Balor will be long remembered for the master stroke that it was. Season six will also be the final season of Game of Thrones with ten episodes, and that’s part of what makes this upcoming SDCC panel so exciting. It feels like it’s almost the end of something.
Check out the panel from last year if you’re not convinced:

It feels like the other shoe is finally ready to drop on Game of Thrones, and that will likely take up a bit of the conversation. Fans will want to really know where these characters are heading. Of course, it’s not likely that we will actually learn anything, but it’s still fun to see the actors take their best guesses.
The SDCC Game of Thrones panel is now a time-honored tradition. It’s like a deep, relaxing exhale after a stressful season of television. That leads it to be the most anticipated panel at Comic Con, and doubtlessly the one that will be watched the most over the coming weeks. Make no mistake, the Game of Thrones panel will be the one not to miss.
Next: Conan is all over Comic Con.
If you’re going to be at SDCC, it would be in your best interest to doe everything in your power to get in that room.
