Game of Thrones has a Sooky Hall of Faces at Comic Con

SDCC is playing host to Game of Thrones’ infamous Hall of Faces

There are a lot of creepy, downright disturbing things on Game of Thrones. A lot of those things have to do with violence. The Hall of Faces, however, is a little different. While the now infamous hall does represent death, it’s rather peaceful. Not violent. The hall was used to great effect to help promote the sixth season, which you can see below:

The Hall of Faces is filled with the faces of the dead, and can be used by the trained residents of the House of Black and White as disguises. HBO and Game of Thrones have brought this idea to San Diego Comic Con, which apparently features a Hall of Faces that you can put your own face in. Morbid, but fun.

Fans who are not there can check it out over at Bleeding Cool. Also available to gawk at are various costumes, including Arya’s from this past season. Game of Thrones is HBO’s biggest show, so it makes perfect sense that it would spend the big bucks to make a splash at an event like San Diego Comic Con. They are also hosting a scavenger hunt and there will be the annual Game of Thrones panel later on.

The House of Black and White was one of the most compelling locales in Game of Thrones, so it’s a little bittersweet that Arya won’t be staying there anymore. At least it means that her character has finally gotten what it needs from Braavos and she can move on.

For those attending SDCC, make sure to swing by and post a picture of your face. If that’s a bit too morbid for your taste, there are many other activities to take part in. After all, San Diego Comic Con is a bit of a zoo, for better or worse.
