Veep Season 6 is now in Production
Veep season 6 is on its way
Well, that begins to answer that particular question. Veep has never been one of those shows that shrouds itself in secrecy; they want you to know what’s going on. Enter Veep‘s official Twitter account, which just announced that Veep season 6 is underway.
That’s a picture of the first table read, and a great picture indeed. The usual suspects can all be seen, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale. It also serves as visual confirmation that we’ll be getting more of Catherine and Marjorie’s delightfully odd relationship. If Anna Chlumsky is in there she is hiding well, though there’s no need to be concerned about her character. Selina very much needs her Amy.

Veep is very much still riding high from their Emmy wins, though many of the individually nominated episodes didn’t end up winning. Veep season 6 is expected to continue the winning streak, and it would actually be shocking at this point if Julia Louis-Dreyfus didn’t end up winning another Emmy.
It’s almost head to believe that Veep will soon have been on the air for six years. It’s an incredible feat that the show has not yet started to feel tired, even after a change in leadership. As long as Veep continues to be as strong as it has been, it should feel free to run forever. HBO is certainly in no rush to put an end to it.
Next: High Maintenance season 2 is coming.
There are no concrete plot details about Veep season 6 yet, though it is expected to follow Selina after losing the White House. What she’ll do now is anyone’s guess, though somehow worming her way back into political office is definitely on the plate.
