Will William fall for Dolores on Westworld?
It’s not out of the realm of possibility for Westworld to bring William and Dolores together.
Westworld is a wild show. Each episode has so far offered more and more twists and turns to the formula. In “The Stray,” Teddy got an entirely new back story. That’s the sort of world that Westworld is. The established lore of Westworld puts Dolores and Teddy together in a relationship that will never really go anywhere due to the looping nature of the park. Also due to Teddy’s uncanny penchant for getting killed, something which has happened in every episode so far.

Now that Dolores has been allowed to, more or less, choose her own fate, there’s no reason to believe that things will Teddy will stay the same. Dolores, and some select other Hosts, have access to memories that they shouldn’t. They are on their way to becoming human, depending on how you’d like to define that. At the end of “The Stray,” Dolores literally landed in William’s arms. What we know so far about William is that the likes to play the good guy, and the could help put in Dolores’ sights.
Yes, William does have a fiancé back home. But Westworld breaks and changes people, and if there is any human character that’s going to fall in love with a Host (besides the damaged Bernard) it’s going to be him. He feels empathy for the Hosts in a way that others do not, and Dolores has a certain way about her that attracts attention.

It wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine Dolores and William together, or perhaps even a strained love triangle with Teddy. That’s assuming that Teddy becomes more self-aware like Dolores and Maeve, but that’s likely already in the cards. What will happen once Dolores learns about the fundamental differences between her and William, however, is another point entirely.
