Check out new Photos from Divorce Episode 8, ‘Church.’
Robert heads to church and Frances ponders her life in new photos from Divorce episode 8.
For a series that is about a married couple splitting up, it’s been fairly difficult to tell which way Divorce is going to go week to week. No, Frances and Robert may not be on the way to reconciliation — at least anytime soon — but it all just keeps getting more complicated and, to be honest, stranger. It’s that sense of strangeness that makes Divorce special. And based on everything we’ve seen so far, ‘Church’ is going to be a strange one.

Here we have Frances not really reading a book, but instead ruminating on the current state of her life. Or at least that’s what we think is going on. The boxes here are interesting — they could Robert’s stuff that he hasn’t taken yet or they could signify a deeper financial issue.

It looks like we’re going to be seeing more of Dallas. Her storyline has taken an interesting turn. We know that she originally tried to convince Frances not to cheat on Robert and that she was “on his side.” In the previous episode Dallas and Robert have a moment in a department store that starts with him on the attack but ends with a sort of tender understanding. That could eventually pave the way for the two of them to get together. It’s worth considering that both of them are lonely, broken people.

Frances is apparently going to take up a new job, so it’s clear what’s going to happen with her gallery. It’s likely that she’s going to need the money to dig out of the hole that Robert left her in.
