Watch the First Teaser for Veep Season 6
Selina plots her comeback tour
More Veep is never a bad thing. It feels like we’ve been waiting far too long for Veep season 6 to premiere, but it’s only been the normal amount of time. Somehow. For those following Veep’s showrunner on social media, David Mandel, the wait has been made a little easier by glimpses of behind the scenes clips and pics. Now we finally have something a little more substantial to chew on: a brand new teaser.

The teaser doesn’t give much away; it really only covers the very general plot. Selina is going to travel the country, spreading Democracy like “patient zero.” The teaser focuses on Selina and the Veep regulars aren’t seen. This will certainly change for the full trailer, which we expect to drop in the next couple of weeks. Veep season 6 promises more of the political comedy that we have come to love, and there is nothing wrong with that.
It wasn’t too long ago that we learned that season 6 will be airing in April, joining the final season of The Leftovers. That means that we still have over a month to go until the premiere, which is still enough time for an old-fashioned binge watch. While we don’t know how Selina is going to make a comeback after being the first female President, we are excited to see how her team is going to mess it up. Maybe she’ll end up having to go head-to-head with the monster that she created, Jonah.

Speaking of Jonah, he definitely needs his own teaser. He’s become such a huge part of the show. Perhaps something in the form of a campaign ad would be in order. This is only the first teaser of what will surely be many, and expect HBO to show it constantly much like it did with Big Little Lies.
