FX’s “Atlanta” will begin exclusively streaming on Hulu starting ahead of the 2018 season 2 premiere of the Donald Glover show.
FX removed episodes of its critically acclaimed new show Atlanta from its FXNOW on-demand video streaming service earlier this year. But fans of the comedy will be happy to know that the entire first season will be available on Hulu before the second season premiere in 2018.
Variety reports that the streaming platform will have the exclusive video-on-demand rights to season 1 and subsequent seasons of the series going forward, where they will debut after their original runs on FX.

Hulu currently holds the streaming rights to other FX shows such as Fargo, Legion, The Strain, Baskets, Sons of Anarchy and Louie as part of an agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution that was reached in 2014. FXX series like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Archer, You’re the Worst and Man Seeking Woman can also be found there.
Atlanta — the highest-rated comedy in FX history — follows two cousins trying to make it in the Atlanta rap scene. It stars Donald Glover, Brian Tyree Henry, and Lakeith Stanfield.
Glover, who created and executive produces the show, took home a Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a TV comedy earlier this year, while the series itself received the trophy for Best Comedy series. It was also recently honored with a Peabody Award.
Sadly, production on season 2 of Atlanta has been pushed back due to Glover’s busy schedule filming the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo movie as Lando Calrissian, which is why they’ll be a gap of two years between seasons. He’s also been cast as Simba in the live-action The Lion King remake.
But we can expect to see even more of the rapper-actor’s work on FX in the coming years after he signed an overall deal with them to develop projects for the network and their streaming services.

Atlanta season 2 will premiere in 2018 on FX.
